Role
This is a great opportunity to join an established Investment Operations and support team and to be an integral member of EQ’s Investment Operation support areas. The Junior Investment Operations role is key to the success of the team and will report to the Head of Investment Administration.
You will be required to provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support to deliver an excellent client service demonstrating compliance to internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
The Junior Investment Operations Administrator will be a key part of the Investment Team, with essential interactions with a multitude of third parties (Fund managers/Platforms/IFA’s) as well as internal stakeholders. The role will suit an individual who has attention to detail, a good work ethic and strong communication skills.
How you’ll add value
- Accurately updating our internal CRM database
- Prompt and professional response to client queries
- Support FE Transmission licences management, including updating activity count using Analytics Usage reports
- New client onboarding: Sending agreements and confirming when access is granted, welcome emails for new IFAs
- Monitoring and reporting flows, setting up and maintaining client fee rebates where applicable
- Assist with AUM reporting, including attaining and processing platform reports, reconciliation and reporting findings to internal parties
- Updating EQ documentation, for example, Costs + Charges and the Platform availability documentation
- Assisting the DFM Sales team with client call enquires, including email response when the Sales team are unavailable and out of the office
- To cover and assist with colleagues’ workload when required
- Monitoring clients who register for downloads, offering assistance and arrange catch up meetings with the Sales team
- Assist with organising events and conferences
- Building rapport with clients
- Tracking registrant attendance and cancellations for events – follow up with necessary email updates
- Updating the Impact Calculator and Carbon Calculator creation
- Assist with providing clients and staff with CPD certificates
What you’ll need to be successful in this role
- Preferred 2 years’ investment operations/client services experience gained within the wealth management/asset management industries
- Strong communication and relationship management skills in a professional manner
- A keen, proactive, positive, motivated individual with a ‘can do’ attitude
- A strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and to take on responsibility, keeping all required parties and your line manager updated with your progress
- Ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to deliver good outcomes for the team and the business
- Microsoft application literate, Excel, Word, CRM
- Numerically literate
- Good organisation and planning skills – able to work to tight deadlines

Salary + benefits
Salary: £25,000 – £28,500 depending on experience + bonus
Start date: ASAP
The role is a full-time position, based at least three days a week working from our office near Monument in London, with the salary + discretionary bonus based on performance.
