EQ Investors to host impact investing event for advisers

Seminar to emphasise benefits of a dual-focus on impact & performance

EQ Investors (EQ), the boutique wealth manager led by John Spiers, is hosting an impact investing focused seminar to be held on Wednesday 11 October in London at EQ’s offices near Monument and is free for all advisers.

To coincide with Good Money Week, the event will help raise awareness of impact investing and and its focus on addressing major social and/or environmental challenges while generating financial returns, to help advisers increase their confidence in promoting the rising asset class to their clients.

Attendees will hear from Damien Lardoux, manager of EQ’s Positive Impact Portfolios and two leading fund managers; Simon Bond of Columbia Threadneedle Investments and Hamish Chamberlayne of Janus Henderson. Each manager will discuss their investing process, providing case studies showing the benefits of an impact based approach to portfolios.

The session is designed to help make impact investing a core part of the conversation when speaking to clients about their investing preferences. EQ will tackle common challenges advisers face, offering them new ideas and practical tools they can use with clients.
