Wellington Global Impact Bond

A global investment grade fund aiming to achieve both attractive financial returns and a meaningful social and/or environmental impact.

Wellington Impact Bond invests in a geographically diversified portfolio of high quality investment grade bonds. Investments are mapped to three core themes that are present within the portfolio: Life Essentials, Human Empowerment and Environment. A tangible, demonstrable positive impact on society and/or the environment from each is key to this fund's investment philosophy. The fund's impact framework measures materiality (how an issuer's core products and services align with the investment themes), additionality (whether the issuer's offering meets a specific need that is unlikely to be met by other entities) and measurability (a quantifiable impact must be achieved) to help ensure purity of impact.
