Buse joined EQ Investors in 2023 and has worked in client facing roles across several industries. In her role as a Sales Support Associate, Buse provides administrative support for the external financial advisers that work with EQ and is the primary point of contact for any platform related queries.

Having completed a bachelor’s degree in textiles at Chelsea University Arts of London, Buse prides herself on taking a flexible and creative approach to supporting the needs of our clients and offering efficient client service.

Tom Hollings

Tom graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in History; he has worked his way from Intern to Associate in financial services and he has recently joined EQ as an Assistant Investment Manager.

John is the Chair of EQ. After gaining an MA in Engineering at Clare College, Cambridge he went into the City as a research analyst for 10 years. In 1986 he set up Bestinvest and over the next 20 years it grew to become a leading private client advisory and wealth management business with over 50,000 clients. In 2007 Bestinvest was acquired by 3i.

Since then John has built up a portfolio of other interests, including the establishment of a Foundation to support various charities. He has taken a particular interest in projects aimed to increase the use of Early Intervention to reduce child abuse. He has also retained a close interest in investment, being a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a member of the Investment Committee for Clare College.

John enjoys competitive sport and participates in historic motorsport and international croquet.

Sophie Kennedy

As joint-CEO, Sophie has oversight and responsibility for all aspects of EQ’s investment activities. She is chair of the Investment Management Committee and serves on EQ’s Executive Management Team and Board of Directors.

Sophie joined EQ in 2015 as an Investment Analyst, specialising in open and closed-end funds, as well as tax-efficient investments including the Enterprise Investment Scheme and Venture Capital Trusts. Prior to joining EQ, she began her career at Tilney Bestinvest in 2011.

Sophie holds a MSc in Finance & Economics from the University of London and is a CFA Charterholder.

Damien Lardoux

Damien has an MSc in Management from Reims Management School and an MSc in Wealth and Asset Management from ESCP-EAP Paris Business School. He is also a CFA charter holder, being a regular member of the CFA Institute and CFA UK society.

Before joining EQ Investors, Damien worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch being responsible for asset allocation, security selection and portfolio construction. Damien now acts as the portfolio manager for the EQ Investors Positive Impact portfolios and brings an incredible enthusiasm for spreading the word about the benefits of impact investing.

Damien is a devoted sportsman, playing judo and squash on a regular basis. He also enjoys hiking, both in the UK and to places such as the Himalayas and the Kilimanjaro.

Daniel Bland

Daniel is Head of Sustainable Investment Management. He joined EQ Investors from Quilter Cheviot, where he managed private client portfolios and developed expertise in specialist fixed interest and equity mandates.

Daniel began his career in Financial Services at RBS after graduating from the University of Nottingham, subsequently joining the investment team at Bestinvest and has over 7 years’ experience as an Investment Manager. He holds a Masters in Wealth Management from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a personal charter as a Fellow of the Institute.

Outside of the office Daniel enjoys mountaineering and climbing, having climbed in the Andes and across Europe. His other passions are travelling, surfing, cycling and sailing.

Louisiana Salge

Louisiana joined EQ in October 2018 after completing a masters in sustainable business at Imperial College London.

She is now responsible for innovating EQ’s approach to sustainable investing. Louisiana oversees EQ’s ESG and impact integration strategy across all assets, EQ’s stewardship efforts and sustainability data reporting.

Previously, Louisiana graduated from UCL with a BSc in Geography and spent a year working for a Cleantech innovation research company before starting her masters. She now also holds the CFA IMC and CFA ESG Investing qualification.

Outside of her career, Louisiana loves travelling and discovering new places, cooking with friends and spending time outdoors.

Tertius Bonnin

Tertius joined EQ in 2016 and is responsible for covering global and thematic equity investment ideas. He also sits on both the fund selection and strategic asset allocation committees while also supporting the portfolio managers across a range of other responsibilities.

Matt Hardy

Matt joined EQ Investors in 2021 as Business Development Manager responsible for financial advisers across the UK, and is passionate about supporting advisers with their sustainable investment needs. In his role as Sales Director, he is focused on building EQ’s presence across the market and oversees EQ’s relationship with a number of national firms.

Having studied Business & Finance at the University of Greenwich, Matt brings over a decade of experience working with IFAs having also worked at Rathbones & Fidelity, and has a wealth of knowledge in providing outsourced investment solutions to advisers.
