Our fully outsourced investment solution for charity trustees and investment committees includes:
In the past ethical and responsible investing tended to involve the use of exclusionary screens that constrained the opportunity set of investments. These strategies often underperformed the wider market.
Our approach to sustainable investing is positively framed; we seek exposure to companies providing innovative products and services that address the world’s most pressing social and environmental problems.
Over the pasts 8 years our Positive Impact portfolios have consistently outperformed our (unconstrained) Best Ideas portfolios – while both strategies have comfortably outperformed our peer group. We believe that investing in sustainable companies with demonstrable positive environmental and social impacts will be a strong driver of future returns.
These model performance numbers are for illustrative purposes only, bespoke portfolios will be tailored to meet client specific objectives and constraints.
Past performance is not a guide to future performance. The value of investments and the income derived from them may go down as well as up, so you could get back less than you originally invested.
Model portfolio performance is shown in sterling, net of underlying fund charges and an annual management fee of 0.59% (Positive Impact) & 0.59% (Best Ideas), with all income reinvested. Actual client returns and the levels of fees will vary. Annual management fees will vary depending on assets under management and the level of service. We use the UK Consumer Price Index (CPI) to benchmark the performance of our portfolios; CPI measures changes in the price level of a weighted average market basket of consumer goods and services purchased by households.
