We are extremely pleased to announce that EQ Investors (EQ) has won the ‘Marketing/Digital Initiative of the Year’ award for its Positive Impact report at the 2021 Portfolio Adviser Wealth Partnership Awards.
EQ was also highly commended in the ‘Fund Selection Team of the Year’ category. These accolades follow six awards in September alone.
The Wealth Partnership Awards were designed by Portfolio Adviser to recognise and reward excellence across key elements of the UK’s wealth and asset management businesses – including, crucially, where the two sectors work together in partnership to generate wealth for end-investors.
EQ’s 2021 Positive Impact report outlines the environmental and social benefits linked to investments in the EQ Positive Impact portfolios. Additionally, the report details the progress of EQ against its engagement impact agenda over the last year as well as providing more detail on its approach to sustainability and future goals.

Top 100 double
In addition to these successes, EQ has also been recognised as a top 100 financial planning-firm in two separate rankings.
For the fifth consecutive year, EQ has been named as a Citywire New Model Adviser top 100 firm. New Model Adviser is a leading industry publication with their Top 100 celebrating the best of the financial planning community.
EQ was also placed in the top 20 in FT Adviser’s list of the UK’s Top 100 Financial Advisers. FT Adviser’s annual rankings reward firms that are chartered and ranks companies using a range of measures including growth rate and assets under management.
Gold Standard Award
To complete the set, EQ was awarded a prestigious Gold Standard Award for Discretionary Fund Management. Organised by Investment Week, Professional Adviser, Retirement Planner & Cover – the Gold Standard Awards recognise company excellence in the in the financial advice and discretionary fund management sector.
Achieving the Gold Standard means the recipient firm has all the characteristics of a successful, high-quality, sustainable, and responsible business in the 2020s. Entrants either earn the Gold Standard accolade or they don’t make the grade.
These awards not only take account of our capability to conduct business, but assess standards of service, financial strength, fair value, and trust, as well as governance and social responsibility which reflect the current financial landscape.
